Individual Therapy

Each human is unique, therefore each therapy journey and session is unique. I seek to meet you where you are, and tailor a plan with you that fits your needs and what you’re seeking from therapy. Your comfortability to share openly and safely is my utmost priority. We can process life transitions, navigate relationships, explore family dynamics and make sense of what life is bringing you in this moment. Beyond talk therapy, we can journey deeper by incorporating inner-child work and EMDR to regulate your nervous system and “get into the body and out of the mind.”

Couples Therapy

We are creatures who follow pattern: some help us, others don’t. In couples therapy, I seek to provide an outside perspective on what unhelpful patterns exist within your relationship. We’ll explore what you both desire from your couples therapy journey, and create a plan of mutual goals to put you on the same team and work towards unity and understanding. I will name the patterns I see, offer new ways of communicating, note body language in the room, and work with you towards rebuilding connection.

EMDR

Ever notice how some memories still feel stuck in your body, even after you've talked through them a hundred times? That's where EMDR comes in. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy approach that works with your brain's natural ability to heal, using guided eye movements or gentle tapping to help "unstick" experiences that are still living in your nervous system. Unlike traditional talk therapy, which mostly engages the thinking, analyzing part of you, EMDR reaches the parts of you that hold onto stress and overwhelm on a physical level: the racing heart, the tight chest, the knot in your stomach. Many people find that after EMDR, a memory that used to feel raw and overwhelming starts to feel more like something that happened, rather than something they're still living through.
